With children build kit from $ 150







For ease of assembly is similar to Lego, but the end result is a fully functional computer to play with, watch streaming video and learn basic programming. The novelty is called Kano and is a kit for sale for $ 150 for children between 6 and 14 years old, so they can build their first PC. The kit can be ordered online, includes a motherboard economic called Raspberry Pi, a Bluetooth keyboard with trackpad, a memory card of 8 GB, audio speakers, cables for connections and different stickers to customize your computer. What is missing is the screen, but you can connect to a monitor or a TV with a hdmi cable. The assembly requires no more than half an hour, and is oriented by an illustrated guide that replaces the traditional manual. 

The operating system is a customized version of Linux, while the programming language is called Kano Blocks provides a first computer education to children three games allowing you to edit and create music, then move on to more complex operations. To stimulate learning, the child gets a badge for every progress made
